Welcome to the new site!
First and foremost I want to thank Sean ‘IceMonkey9‘ for setting this up for me. Great guy, great friend, great person – if you ever want a professional, sexy-looking website, he’s the man for the job.

Friends and readers of my old blog, you’ll probably remember plenty of times where I’ve tried to restructure my life to no avail. I’ve always had a problem with motivation; I really feel I’m on my way to fixing it, but this is not something I can change overnight. It’s a slow, drawn-out process that I have to plug away at every day. You could call it an addiction to laziness – it’s like a drug. I can’t just go cold-turkey when the stuff’s readily available, all around me. I have to slowly ween myself off it, and instill good habits into my daily life.
This past fall I became a coach at stoxpoker, and that added some much-needed pressure to stay on my toes and keep myself busy. Still, I need more, and this site is going to a boost to my ongoing progress.
My short(ish)-term goal is to finally break through the mid-day wake-ups, the bad exercise and diet habits, and especially the measly 20-25k hands per month. Of course I’ll catalogue my progress here. Eventually I plan on having near-full workdays including grinding and studying time, >50k hand months, my side venture as a coach thriving, and this website full of good content. (More on that in due time).
As for poker, I’ve got a little bit of a boomswitch thing going on, but it’s kind of irrelevant. For the past few months since moving to iPoker I’ve felt pretty stable, especially in contrast to my downswing earlier this year. I’m thinking about things I didn’t used to think about, noticing spots where ranges don’t make sense, understanding how to balance myself better, and it’s all padding my winrate. I feel in control again. Then again, upswings tend to give that false sense of invincibility.
Either way, poker’s going well, I’m putting my hours in, and I feel good!
Glad you love the site man, it was my pleasure making it for you. I’m real happy to read that you’re looking at poker life much more seriously and with a business like approach. I think that will only mean good things for you.
Oooh, pretty!
Damn, I wanted to leave the 1st post on the new site.
Great to see you back bro, miss following your posts. Looking forward to seeing this one grow.
Congrats on the coaching deal, I know everyone will get there moneys worth with you. Would be happy to vouch for you if anyone ever wanted to ask about your skills.
Welcome back and good luck.
